What I Built
PharmBot AI is a custom chatbot framework designed specifically for the supplement and health product industry. Unlike generic chatbots, it’s trained on pharmacological data and product-specific information.
How It Works
The system uses a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) approach:
- Knowledge Base: Curated database of supplement evidence, interactions, and dosing
- Smart Retrieval: Semantic search to find relevant information for each query
- Grounded Generation: AI responses are grounded in retrieved evidence, not hallucinated
- Safety Layer: Built-in guardrails for medical advice boundaries
